Looking for a Mimaki printer, 1.6m. Primarily to serve customer with window cling stickers etc.

Found a couple of JV33-160, appreciate this is an older model but are these pretty bulletproof? Is CV a much better printer?

I've got a CJV, bought just after lock down. Good printer - when it is working.
The print head went after about 100m, and was replaced with a used one under warranty. Just after the warranty expired the Comm Io board failed - £1700 for the part plus fitting. A few weeks later the replacement printhead failed - cost about £2400 to replace it. So two printheads in about 250m of HTV vinyl....
Maybe I was just unlucky with 'lockdown' parts?

The JV400 SUV can be purchased on the used market at handy money. hard wearing uv inks which dont require lamination or gassing off.

Appreciate Reponses, our engineer managed to find a nearly new Mutoh Xpertjet for a great price so we've swung that way.

Still looking for a 64" dye sub printer so will look at the Mimakis for this as well.
